Islamic old pictures/history

The Holy Kaaba pictured in 1887 by Al-Sayyid Abd al-Ghaffar, during the reign of Sultan Abdul Hamid II. Abd al-Ghaffar is credited with being the earliest Arabian photographer from Makkah and the first resident to photograph the holy city.


📸 The tomb of Sultān Muḥammad ll (d.1481) in the year 1890. He is popularly known as Mehmed the Conqueror. He conquered Constantinople (modern-day Instanbul) at the age of 21 and brought an end to the Byzantine Empire. #History
