The Holy Kaaba pictured in 1887 by Al-Sayyid Abd al-Ghaffar, during the reign of Sultan Abdul Hamid II.
Abd al-Ghaffar is credited with being the earliest Arabian photographer from Makkah and the first resident to photograph the holy city.
